FIU- the Netherlands congratulates its former head on her appointment to the AMLA Executive Board
On behalf of FIU- the Netherlands, we congratulate our former head, Hennie Verbeek-Kusters, on her appointment as a Member of the Executive Board of the Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA) in Frankfurt. This appointment marks an important step in strengthening European cooperation in the fight against financial crime.
Hennie Verbeek-Kusters has a long and impressive track record in tackling money laundering, terrorist financing, and criminal cash flows, as well as extensive international experience. We are proud of this appointment, which is not only a recognition of her personal qualities, but also of FIU- the Netherlands’ strategic position in the international fight against money laundering.
In her new position, Hennie Verbeek-Kusters will contribute to the strategic development of European policy and the harmonized implementation of anti-money laundering measures. We look forward to the intensification of cooperation between the FIUs of the EU, for which new opportunities will arise.
