To make it easier to report unusual transactions, FIU-the Netherlands has developed a new and simplified reporting form tailor-made to real estate agents.
To make it easier to report unusual transactions, FIU-the Netherlands has developed a new and simplified reporting form tailor-made to real estate agents. The new reporting form is discussed with the supervisor and is tested by various real estate agents. It is especially designed to make the process of reporting unusual transactions more user-friendly and less time-consuming.
The simplified form can be found via the following link: https://www.fiu-nederland.nl/meldformulier. There you will also find the manual with additional explanation.
This new form is the next step in a process of FIU-the Netherlands to make reporting unusual transactions as easy as possible and to increase the data quality of the reports. We started in 2020 and now there are tailor-made forms for Accountants, Civil-law notaries and dealers in goods, brokers in high-value goods and art dealers. The next project will be to update the forms for the obliged entities on Caribbean Netherlands.
